Piero Incisa della Rocchetta hails from Italy where his family and ancestors are known for making their mark with Sassicaia at Tuscany’s Tenuta San Guido. He has however chosen to make biodynamic Pinot Noir in Argentina’s Patagonia, in Rio Negro, under his brand Chacra. We ask him in this extensive interview about his decision to make Argentine Pinot Noir, why Rio Negro is unique, and his perspective on wine and living in the countryside in general.
