Viñedo Chadwick is one of the most renowned wines in Chile and it comes from one vineyard in Puente Alto, a place that has become specially recognised for its high quality Cabernet Sauvignon. Puente Alto is a small pocket of vineyards in Alto Maipo, just outside of Santiago city, where the neighbouring wineries include Almaviva and Don Melchor. Winemaker of Viñedo Chadwick, Francisco Baettig, talks to us about what makes this terroir unique and why it has become synonymous with high quality Cabernet Sauvignon and red blends.
